ABOUT

Susan Mulholland

“I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I have ended up where I intended to be “

This was printed on the envelope of a hotel that I stayed in several years ago. It sums up my career philosophy. I have never had a plan, but I have always been planning. There has been a lot of ‘three steps forward, and two steps back’, but always progress. Many big ideas and several awkward failures. Small, but always consistent successes. 8 jobs, 14 bosses, 2 children, one hubby  and a dog – I feel qualified personally and professionally to talk ‘career’ with you. Let’s have that conversation….

So you think career is just the

"day job"

THINK AGAIN

Get back in the driving seat of your own career.

Change and uncertainty provide the perfect time to pause and reflect. To freeze frame our life in this moment and understand our journey to this point. It can create future opportunities, or just a next step in the right direction.

Think ‘map of the territory’ vs 'sat nav' directions.
Understanding the starting point is as important as the destination.

You are not alone, it’s good to talk.

Unlike other forms of career development, the Career Conversations Experience runs in small groups, guided by an experienced facilitator. There are huge benefits in this peer to peer interaction.

This two part virtual group discovery experience helps you clarify your career aspirations for the short to medium term future. Career is more than just the day job.

It is a fun and professionally guided experience looking at the intersection of meaningful work and personal lifestyle.

REFLECT

Ciara

A really worthwhile experience. I got that "aha" moment - and it has made me do something that I have wanted to do for a long time.

CONNECT

Stanley

It was a great way to take time to think and talk about my career and its future direction. Listening to the other people involved gave me the insight  that I wouldn't have hit by myself.

EXPLORE

Enda

It was a very  enjoyable experience. Whilst I am at the end of one career, it got me thinking about possibilities and opportunities for the next phase of my life.
